2017 Melbourne Cup long lunch at Cafe Morso with harbourside dining, 2 big screens, sweeps and prizes for best dressed, best shoes, best hat or fascinator! 

Our four course menu with oysters and complimentary Prosecco on arrival, shared entrees, choice of main, dessert with your choice from our local and international wine list, and Australian craft beers

Menu ($75 per head)

  • Starter

Freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters with verjuice and eschallot jelly

Hot sicilian and green mammoth olives marinated in vanilla with sonoma bread

  • Entrée -Shared plates

Whole roasted garlic bread, herbed goat’s cheese, balsamic

Ploughman's plate; Cheddar, ham hock & pistachio terrine cornichons and quince paste

Cured salmon gravlax with fennel, pickled cucumber and orange salad and chia seeds


  • A Choice of Mains

Potato gnocchi, broccoli, radicchio, broad beans, spiced cauliflower, sultana escabeche  

Prawn and crab pappardelle with corn, dill, cherry tomato, lemon, chilli and garlic

Pan seared Barramundi fillet  with soft polenta and salsa rossa

Chargrilled beef flank steak with chipotle sugo and potato puree


  • Side salad- served with mains

Kale, chili roasted corn, pickled spanish onion, sesame seeds

  • Dessert- for the table

Lemon Meringue Tart, double cream
